CLAY EXPERIENCE
The workshop is all about clay. Give it a shot at the potter’s wheel, make a crazy sculpture and capture the moment with a group photo.
Have some fun together and afterwards the clay goes into recycling. Sustainable, nothing is fired, it’s all about the experience with each
other in a relaxed atmosphere!
CLAY BASE
During this workshop you will learn to turn a pot on the potter’s wheel & make a bowl with a original pattern using stamps in one of our
plaster molds. After drying, everything is fired in the electric kiln. Your ceramics can be painted with ordinary paint at home or perhaps
you come back for a glazing workshop?
FOLLOW – UP BASE & GLAZE
For the glaze lovers, there is the possibility to book a glaze workshop afterwards. You will get an explanation about glazing. After
decorating your work in many beautiful colors it will be fired again in the kiln at 1040 degrees. Then it is waterproof & ready to use!
CLAY & COLOR
In this pottery workshop you may paint your freshly made pots and bowls directly with clay sludge, engobes in different colors. After
drying, we apply a transparent layer of glaze and fire your ceramics in the electric kiln. The colors will be beautifully shiny and can be
picked up later in Atelier Noord.
PAINTING CROCKERY
Do you like painting? Be our guest! You can decorate plates, bowls, cups and mugs that we have in stock.
Using a special glaze in many beautiful colors, easy to do, painting is fun! After firing at 1080 degrees your work is ready and
durable to use, at home or at work (dishwasher safe).
MIX OF TECHNIQUES
Do you want to keep all options open? Choose the Mix so that everyone can do what appeals to them. Pottery, clay, decorate and paint on
existing crockery. Go with the flow and get inspired in the studio!
