This private workshop keeps all options open. Choose the Mix! so that everyone can do what appeals to them: modeling, POTTERY, painting with engobe, and decorating tableware and tiles.

We will teach you how to throw a pot on the potter's wheel. You can also make a bowl in a plaster mold. We are happy to help you create something beautiful. There are stamps you can use to make impressions in the clay and lots of fun examples in the studio. 

Made something beautiful? Then start painting with engobe, colored clay slip in many shades. With engobe, you paint directly onto the unfired clay. 

Painting tableware:
Design your own mug: get together with friends or coworkers to paint your own coffee cup or tea mug. Or work with your family to paint a plate or small bowl to give as a gift.

You can also decorate tableware with transfers. There are many different images to choose from, including flowers, herbs, fish, Delft blue, and many more fun vintage images. You apply them with a little water, like a temporary tattoo, onto the white tiles, plates, bowls, and cups that we have in stock. Anyone can do it! Everything is baked at 830 degrees in the ceramic oven. It is then dishwasher safe and can be used safely and sustainably for eating or drinking.

After a few weeks, your painted clay artworks will be dry, and we will glazing fire them at 1080 degrees in the ceramic kiln. Because the work is given a transparent layer of shiny glaze, the colors become very beautiful and it is waterproof.

At Atelier Noord , it Atelier Noord ready after about a month. We will pack it carefully, ready to be picked up and enjoyed at home or at work!
